2021 — The First Anubhav
Anubhav 2022 was where everything started. In May 2022, S2H planted 9 varieties of Teti (muskmelon) and Tarbooch (watermelon) in side-by-side plots at the farm of Nagbhai Dhandhal in Jamka village, Junagadh — and invited farmers to walk the field and see the difference with their own eyes.
It was a small beginning by the scale of what Anubhav would become — 9 varieties, one field, one farmer. But the idea it proved was enormous: that farmers don’t need to be told which variety to grow. They need to be shown. And when they see it themselves, they never forget it.
Nagbhai Dhandhal opened his land in Jamka for this first demonstration — and the concept worked so well that he came back in 2023 to host 108 chilli varieties on the same farm. The farmer who believed in the idea first is the same farmer who helped it grow.

Even 9 varieties in a single field created visible, undeniable differences that every walking farmer could understand immediately. The live field demonstration was more persuasive than any expert presentation.

A small trial done properly is worth more than a large claim
9 varieties under rigorous equal conditions generated more useful, trustworthy data than any number of company-run trials with uncontrolled variables. Quality of methodology matters more than scale.

The idea scales — from 9 to 290+ in four years
The proof of concept from 2022 was strong enough to justify expanding every year. By 2026, Anubhav had grown 32x in variety scale and drawn 10,000+ farmers — all built on the foundation laid by 9 plots in Jamka.
